BIOREME prepared for launch!

We are delighted to announce that BIOREME will be fully operational from January 2022, so please sign-up to the network for free to keep up-to-date with new events, funding calls and opportunities. Or if you are interesting in finding out more or getting involved, please do contact us too.

BIOREME was awarded £760k funding by the EPSRC to be a Network Plus, with the remit of generating exciting new opportunities in respiratory modelling research. By bringing together academics in the mathematical sciences with clinicians, industry representatives and patient representatives BIOREME will nurture new collaborations that focus on patient impact.

Over the course of the next 4 years BIOREME will host a range of workshops, sandpits, and public and stakeholder engagement events to catalyse new collaborations and ideas. We will also fund 3 1-year PostDoc positions, and several research travel grants and summer internships to attract the best and brightest into research that addresses one or more of our core themes.

We will be hosting an online launch event on 9th Feb 2022 to give a brief preview of what to expect from the network.
