    Jim is Professor of Magnetic Resonance Physics and Head of Imaging at the University of Sheffield. He founded and leads the imaging research group POLARIS. He specialises in hyperpolarised Gas Magnetic Resonance Imaging and using this technology to garner new insights into lung function.
